Eph. 4:25-28

This message is the first of three that deal with the sins named in Ephesians 4 and 5. This week's passage address the sins of lying, prolonged anger, and stealing. But before explaining what makes these particular sins bad, Pastor Trevor takes some time to explain what makes Sin bad in general. While the Bible states that sin is a transgression of God's Law, we believe that these things violated God's plan and character, even before there was a written commandment to break. The Bible is not what makes sin bad; they are bad because they are an offense to God, and the Bible reminds us so. The message also demonstrates how all human sin is really just an imitation of Satan, and we do not want to operate his way.
