Jn. 1:1-20; Col. 1:15-20; Hb. 1:1-7

Unfortunately, the beginning of this audio message, which is its preface, was cut off. It is spoken from the perspective of the angel - he calls himself Harold, as in "Hark the Harold Angel Sings" :) - who announced Jesus' birth to the shepherds. He reminds the church that the mystery and splendour of Jesus' birth cannot be appreciated unless we recognize WHO, exactly, is lying in that manger. Jesus is the Creator of the universe, and his power and glory is matchless - worthy of the angels' best welcome and more. Listen and see who Jesus was, is and will be - as the angels know him!
