Jn. 13:34-35; Acts 2:42-47

Having reached the two-year anniversary of his first message at BFAC, Pastor Trevor recalls the initial strategy for outreach and growth that he presented. Generally, Trevor told the church and the search committee that he believed that God Himself draws people to a church, and that the primary thing He wants to point out to non-believers is our love for one another. In the Church, Love is meant to be more than a catch-phrase, and Family is more than a metaphor. Family is what we ARE, and love is what makes us who we are. Acts 2:42-47 is presented as a recipe of what God wants His family to cultivate, in order that HE can grow the Church. This message serves as the preface to a series that looks into the "ingredients" of church growth in Acts 2.
