The seventh ingredient mentioned in the Acts 2:42-47 recipe for church growth is home entertainment. How sad it is that the words “home entertainment” and “hospitality” have virtually become opposites in our culture, when both terms are translated from the same Greek word in Bible times. Many of us have no time or desire to host people, because we are too busy being entertained! This message shares the reasons why the hassle and personal sacrifice of opening our homes to one another is vital to the growth of the Church, and the saving of souls. What a thought that a simple dinner party could be the first step in the eternal life of one of our neighbours!
