Ps. 73:25-26; Jn. 15:15; Mt. 10:29-31; 6:25-27

In a convenient coincidence, one of our music volunteers requested the song "His Eye is on the Sparrow" to fall on the same day as Mother's Day. This song is a timely reminder for mothers everywhere, who live out their God-blessed calling in a world that measures work in dollars. Where men (and increasingly more women) may believe the lie that real work is for money, Jesus actually says the opposite: that eternal value cannot even BE measured with money. Motherhood is an investment in eternity, because every child has eternal potential. Women, trust that your decision to invest your life making a home, loving a husband and children, is highly valuable to God, and He sees you every moment, even if you feel like you have become invisible to the world. "His eye is on the Sparrow..." so you know He watches YOU!
