Christ is risen! He has risen indeed - ALLELUIA! A Christian is a person who follows Jesus. Where are we following Jesus TO? Heaven! How does He get us there? Resurrection! Pastor Trevor has tried to gear this message toward young people, helping them understand that why we needed Jesus to solve TWO problems that keep us from Heaven. First, He rescues us from punishment on Good Friday. But then, He offers us a new, imperishable life on Easter. All we have to do - indeed, all we CAN do - is follow Him on the same path He Himself took: through the leaving behind of the old life (symbolized in Baptism) and into the new life after resurrection!
