Psalm 139

As we read and meditate on Psalm 139, it becomes very clear that our lives are both engineered and treasured by the hand and heart of God! He is attentive to us as human beings in a special way. We are never alone, never forgotten, never abandoned, never without purpose and value in our lives. And this reality applies not only to those who know God, but to every person! If this is so, then we ought to be very resistant to the prevailing world philosophy known as "over-population," which implies that there are too many people - and that the world would be better off without many or most of us. The philosophy of over-population is incompatible both with scientific reasoning and the Bible's message. Psalm 139 reminds us that NO ONE is accident.
